أطلقت شركة “بينك تاكسى” أول خدمة سيارات أجرة في القاهرة تخصص للنساء فقط، تقودها النساء وزبائنها النساء فقط.
ويغطي اللون الوردي سيارات الأجرة هذه وزي السائقات وحتى طلاء أظافرهن، وتأتي هذه الفكرة في إطار العمل على توفير خدمة سيارات أجرة آمنة للنساء، حيث صرحت ريم فوزي صاحبة شركة ” بينك تاكسى” أن “أي فكرة جديدة تنبع من حاجة المجتمع لها” باعتبار أن المراة في بلدها، وفي عدة بلدان أخرى، في حاجة لوسيلة نقل آمنة.
وتقوم بسياقة هذه السيارات خريجات جامعات، وتشترط الشركة ان يتقن لغة ثانية إلى جانب اللغة العربية، كما تتلقى السائقات تدريبات خاصة لتأهيلهن لهذا العمل، من بينها تأهيلات نفسية وتدريبات حول قانون المرور والإسعافات الأولية، لضمان سلامة وأمن الراكبات، وتحسبا لأي طوارئ على الطريق.
